The Laramie Project is a film based on the real-life experience of a theatre company going to Laramie in the wake of the brutal kidnapping, beating and murder of Matthew Shepard on Oct 6th 1998. own experiences of Hate crimes and homophobia and Soph talks about the fact we grew up seeing more about the issues in America because we by law weren't allowed to be taught about queer things in school.
