So this week On Heavenly Features Podcast we are talking about the 2010 film The Runaways written and directed by Floria Sigismondi based on the book Neon Angel: The Cherie Currie story By Cherie Currie. The Runaways stars Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie and Michael Shannon as Kim Fowley.
We run through the film and talk about how shocked we were that they were children! we go into the toxic way that they were treated and also how we were such fans of Joan Jett as kids (and still now) but didn't really know her story. we also embarrassingly talk about what our first singles we spent our own money on were!!

We go into how this right-wing government is causing so much harm by not banning conversion therapy for all. LGB with the T!!! WE MUST BAN CONVERSION THERAPY FOR ALL! Queer rights are human rights.
